As a United Methodist Church in the Northern Illinois Conference, the UMC of Antioch has committed to paying 100% of its denominational financial obligations to mission and ministry in this area. In addition, members have agreed to support designated ministries in the world, nation, Conference, and community. Each color of the rainbow represents a particular area of ministry. Rainbow Covenant Churches have financially supported all the colored bands of the rainbow. In addition to the Rainbow Covenant giving, UMCA has supported Open Arms Mission, PADS, the Backpack Program, Veterans programs, and many others with our finances, food, clothing, and time.
