Missions

Missions is defined as the vocation or calling of a religious organization to go out into the world and spread its faith. Every month we help focus the hearts and hands of UMC of Antioch to support both local and global efforts to share this commitment. Watch this space to see how we are helping people to feel God's love through food pantry supplies, packing lunches, spending a couple of hours at Feed My Starving Children, buying backpacks and Christmas Gifts. We Walk and/or Run to support CROP Hunger Walks and A Safe Place. Additionally, we collect monetary donations for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), UMC Missionaries, and many other projects. Our Missions team is committed to be instruments of God's love through the Holy Spirit, as we reach out to our community and the world.

July Focus: Kids Above All Back-to-School Drive

Kids Above All’s Annual Back-To-School Backpack Drive (https://www.kidsaboveall.org/bts-drive/) collects backpacks and supplies for school-aged kids so they are ready to succeed throughout the coming year. A list of current needs can be found via the link above, and will be displayed in Wesley Hall.
